Arsenal fans criticize Fabio Vieira
After Arsenal’s victorious 3-1 Premier League match over Burnley, fans had a lot to say about Fabio Vieira’s performance. Following the Gunners’ first league defeat at Newcastle United last weekend, Mikel Arteta’s team came back strong with a win at the Emirates. The match saw Leandro Trossard securing the first goal just before half-time, and Josh Brownhill equalizing for Burnley in the second half. However, Arsenal quickly regained the lead with a goal from William Saliba, and Oleksandr Zinchenko secured the 3-1 scoreline with a goal 16 minutes before the final whistle. Despite Vieira being sent off seven minutes before the end of the game for a poor challenge on Brownhill, Arsenal held on to the win and moved level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table. Fans were disappointed in Vieira’s performance, with many expressing their discontent on X (formerly known as Twitter). Vieira has scored one goal and provided three assists in 13 games across all competitions this season.
Burnley manager, Vincent Kompany, also had praise for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, acknowledging the club’s outstanding performance. Arsenal’s next match is against Brentford on November 25 after the international break.
