The Frenchman initially signed a seven-year deal with the club in January, having joined Chelsea from AS Monaco for a reported £35 million. He has featured in three games in various competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing an assist. Additionally, he has helped maintain one clean sheet, but has been dealing with various fitness issues. Nonetheless, Chelsea considers him to be a key member of the squad under the management of Mauricio Pochettino.
Furthermore, the Italian club AC Milan made an unsuccessful loan proposal for Badiashile, suggesting the loan be concluded with a mandatory acquisition. Although Chelsea turned down this offer, they may be more open to negotiations regarding Badiashile’s teammate, Malang Sarr, who has yet to play a game this season. It is worth noting that Milan have a good relationship with Chelsea in terms of transfer business, having recently obtained the services of Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Lastly, Chelsea has been linked with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as they seek to recruit a new striker in the upcoming transfer window. However, Napoli has indicated that Osimhen is on the verge of extending his contract with the club, following a rejected offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal in the summer. Osimhen was Serie A’s top scorer last season and has been an integral part of Gli Azzurri, who clinched the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years.
