Controversy Erupts as RatedEpicz Exposes Alleged Homophobic Discord Messages from bananabrea

The contentious Twitch content creator RatedEpicz recently shared alleged homophobic Discord chats of fellow NoPixel streamer bananabrea during a live stream. Clips of the GTA RP creator using the f-slur have gone viral on social media, and users of the r/LivestreamFail subreddit have strongly criticized the group for their behavior. RatedEpicz has a controversial reputation within the GTA RP community, having previously been permanently banned from NoPixel servers. Since then, he has been exposing other streamers for their homophobic behavior, with bananabrea being the latest target.

The clips of bananabrea’s alleged homophobic messages have sparked outrage among viewers, with one Redditor describing the group as “scum.” The controversy involving RatedEpicz and Lyndi earlier this year, where private messages containing homophobia and transphobia were leaked, has also been brought into focus.

Bananabrea is a well-known Grand Theft Auto roleplay streamer who has been active on the NoPixel servers since 2017. She is recognized for portraying in-game characters such as Claire Seducer and Tyme Reducer. Notably, she clashed with popular streamer Felix “xQc” earlier this year after making disparaging remarks about his followers.

The screenshots shared by RatedEpicz highlight discord messages from bananabrea containing derogatory terms, including the homophobic f-word. These messages have elicited strong criticism from viewers, including members of the r/LivestreamFail subreddit. The controversy has reignited discussions about the behavior of content creators within the gaming community, particularly in the context of homophobia and transphobia.

In light of these developments, it’s evident that the actions and comments of prominent content creators are under heightened scrutiny, and the community is holding them accountable for their behavior.
