Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fan Kate Cross has pledged to continue supporting the team even as she joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for WPL 2024. Cross, who once trolled RCB during IPL 2020, expressed her loyalty to CSK despite joining RCB for the Women’s Premier League. The 32-year-old player, who amassed experience from playing in the Women’s Big Bash League and The Hundred Women, had gone unsold during the inaugural edition of WPL. She has also excelled in international matches, having scalped a significant number of wickets in T20Is, ODIs, and Test matches. Despite expressing love and respect for CSK and MS Dhoni in the past, Cross had previously expressed her disappointment at CSK not bidding for a WPL team last year. She shared that she has always been a fan of MS Dhoni and has admired his leadership skills. Kate Cross is set to participate in a one-off Test against India Women at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai from December 14.
