However, to be a perennial Super Bowl contender, they need a dominant running back like Henderson. Henderson has played 30 games for Ohio State across three years, in which he has 2673 rushing yards and 32 rushing touchdowns on 427 carries while averaging 6.3 yards per carry. He also has 569 receiving yards on 50 receptions for five touchdowns. He is arguably the best running back in the upcoming draft class, and if he is available on the draft board, the Dallas Cowboys can certainly pursue him.

The Cowboys need more production from their running backs, especially after releasing Ezekiel Elliott. The team did draft running back Deuce Vaughn in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, but he has failed to make an impact so far. Even if the Cowboys don’t draft TreVeyon Henderson, they are likely to pursue other highly touted running backs.
