Defending is crucial until the final whistle

Hyderabad FC travel to Guwahati to take on NorthEast United at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in the Indian Super League on Sunday. The Nawabs come into this game on the back of a 0-2 loss at the hands of Mohun Bagan. The Highlanders, on the other hand, were thrashed 0-5 in their previous game by East Bengal.

Hyderabad’s Nim Dorjee Tamang acknowledged the team’s inability to keep a clean sheet this season and emphasized the need to focus on defending. The team will try to keep a clean sheet in the upcoming match and secure their first win of the campaign.

While NorthEast United have had a challenging season after a good start, Hyderabad is yet to secure their first win. The Nawabs, apart from their inaugural season in 2019-20, have consistently finished in the top half of the ISL table. However, they are currently at the bottom of the standings with only three points. They aim to redeem themselves in Guwahati against a struggling NorthEast side.
