Rinku Singh (46) top-scored for the Men in Blue in the batting department, while Jitesh Sharma (35) played a blazing cameo. Yashasvi Jaiswal (37) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (32) failed to convert their starts. Ben Dwarshius picked up three wickets for Australia.
In response, Travis Head (31) provided a brisk start to Australia, but the Indian bowlers managed to pull things back, and the visitors could only reach 154/7 in 20 overs, losing the match by 20 runs. Axar Patel, who won the Player of the Match award for his spell in the second innings, shared his perspective after the game.
The two teams will next face off in the 5th T20I of the series on Sunday, December 3, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
