Navratilova, a vocal supporter of human rights and critic of Israel’s policies, expressed her dissatisfaction with Hotovely’s responses. She condemned both Hamas and the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, for their actions in the ongoing conflict. Navratilova called on both parties to reconsider their aggressive approaches and prioritize civilian lives. The 18-time Grand Slam champion also highlighted the shared culpability of both parties.
