
Real Madrid is reportedly considering extending the contract of manager Carlo Ancelotti, who has been linked to the Brazil national team job. Despite the rumors, Los Blancos are contemplating offering the Italian a new two-year deal that will keep him at the club till 2026. Ancelotti has publicly expressed his desire to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, despite little progress in his contract talks. Meanwhile, Brazil has been without a permanent manager since their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign. Ancelotti’s side is currently second in La Liga after 13 games, trailing surprise leaders Girona. They have also won their opening four games in the UEFA Champions League. Ancelotti has had tremendous success at Real Madrid, winning various titles including two UEFA Champions League trophies and one La Liga title. He has managed the Spanish giants 253 times across competitions, winning 183 times and losing 38.
