John Hynes is the new head coach of the Minnesota Wild, known for his outstanding NHL career. His wife, Sarah Mikla Hynes, has been a dedicated supporter throughout. Sarah graduated from St. Croix Central High School in 1991 and received a bachelor’s degree in movement science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996. She was a successful Division I athlete and later pursued a master’s degree in teaching health and physical education. Additionally, she excelled as an assistant coach for various volleyball teams, including the University of Daytona and the Wisconsin Badgers women’s volleyball team. Sarah and John first met in university, and they have three daughters together. On the other hand, John Hynes has had a remarkable coaching career in the NHL and AHL, achieving 284 wins in 602 games as an NHL head coach. Prior to his NHL career, he also had success as a head coach in the AHL with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
