AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal, with contact being made between the club and the player’s agent. The Polish defender has struggled for game time since joining the Gunners from Spezia Calcio in January for €25 million. Milan are eyeing a potential loan deal, although Arsenal are reluctant to let him go. Meanwhile, AS Roma are also interested in Kiwior, with Jose Mourinho looking to address a defensive void caused by Evan Ndicka’s absence at the African Cup of Nations. Kiwior faces tough competition to break into the Arsenal first team, and with interest from Milan and Roma, his future at the club remains uncertain.
On the other hand, Arsenal’s Kai Havertz has also struggled to make an impact since his €75 million move from Chelsea in the summer. The German midfielder has been urged by former Chelsea icon Michael Ballack to show more assertiveness at the Emirates. Despite speculation over his future, Ballack believes it is too early for Havertz to consider leaving Arsenal. With Real Madrid reportedly monitoring the situation, the 24-year-old will be looking to improve his performances and prove his worth to the Gunners.
