The Epson Tour is seeing some significant changes, and many are thrilled about it. The Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic, one of the biggest events on the LPGA development tour, will now have a prize purse of $400,000, making it the largest on the tour. The first-place winner will take home $60,000.
Additionally, the tournament is moving from the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa to TPC Scottsdale on the Champions Course. This move is significant as the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course is the official home of the WM Phoenix Open.
Jody Brothers, Epson Tour Chief Business and Operating Officer, and Chris Koch, Chair, President, and CEO of Carlisle Companies, expressed their happiness and pride in the changes. They have also extended the sponsorship deal through 2026 and are looking forward to providing support for the future of professional golf.
The Epson Tour will take place in Scottsdale from May 9 to 12, 2024, and TPC Scottsdale General Manager, Brad Williams, is looking forward to welcoming the players. The tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour and the Symetra Tour, is the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour.
