AC Milan is interested in signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior in January. Kiwior joined the Gunners from Italian side Spezia Calcio in January 2023 for £21 million. He has made 18 appearances for the club, scoring one goal. The 23-year-old has been struggling to secure regular game time due to the consistent central defending partnership of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba. Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan is reportedly keeping an eye on Kiwior for the past few weeks, and the Rossoneri are looking to sign two new defenders in January. While Arsenal wants to keep Kiwior at the club, a move back to Serie A could be an ideal option for the player’s growth. Kiwior has previously played 39 matches in the Italian top flight. On the other hand, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaks about his team’s consistent improvement this season. The Gunners are currently at the top of the Premier League table with 33 points from 14 matches and have lost only once. Arteta expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, emphasizing the importance of maintaining consistency in their upcoming fixtures. Arsenal will face Luton Town in an away fixture on December 5, and securing wins in all their upcoming matches could strengthen their title charge.
