Jon Anik was impersonated by a YouTuber, and a rising UFC-signed 135-pounder got quite a kick out of it.
The MSP Show hosted by Cameron Saaiman featured The MMA Guru talking about several topics and also getting a little silly.
As they were doing playful faux commentary over Lauren Murphy versus Miesha Tate, The MMA Guru decided to emulate UFC’s lead play-by-play announcer, Jon Anik. Guru referenced a famous commentary line while doing the impression, and also impersonated former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till, much to the amusement of Saaiman.
Jon Anik, who is known for his iconic calls in MMA history, has made several memorable utterances during his time with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Anik has built great chemistry with various talented color commentators throughout his career.
Other notable names in the conversation include Mauro Ranallo, Joe Rogan, and Mike Goldberg, who have all contributed iconic calls and moments to the sport of MMA.
