Blame Game: Tyler Dunne Accuses Sean McDermott of Bills’ Meltdown, Scapegoating Leslie Frazier

The head coach of the Buffalo Bills, Sean McDermott, has been in the news due to his speech about 9/11 that he used to inspire his team. In a series of exclusive articles, Tyler Dunne talked about his interactions with former Bills players and coaches, who emphasized how McDermott has been the main reason behind the team’s failure to win a Super Bowl. Dunne detailed how Josh Allen’s regression can be attributed to McDermott.

McDermott faced criticism for his coaching methods, especially after the infamous 13-second loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. Dunne mentioned that this loss can be attributed to McDermott, as he didn’t listen to the special teams coordinator and took over the defensive play-calling duties from Leslie Frazier. This led to the team losing the game in overtime, and Frazier received criticism for the loss. Both Frazier and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey have left the team.

With both coordinators gone, all the pressure is now on McDermott as the Bills head coach. He is facing a must-win scenario in the upcoming game against the Chiefs, as a loss would greatly diminish their playoff chances. The team’s remaining fixtures include games against the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins.

Despite the challenges, McDermott needs to finish the season on a high note to keep his job. The Bills are currently 6-6, and a positive outcome in the remaining games is crucial for the team’s future. If the Bills fail to make the playoffs, significant changes may lie ahead for the team.
