The New York Jets approached the Las Vegas Raiders about trading for wide receiver Davante Adams, but were informed that he was not available for trade. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers expressed interest in reuniting with Adams, and his potential teammates, including Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Michael Carter, also voiced their support for the idea. Adams is set to earn $16.89 million next season and signed a five-year, $141.25 million deal with the Raiders. Although he does not have a no-trade clause, the Raiders declined trade offers from the Jets and have him under contract until 2026. Adams could become a free agent in 2027, and the Raiders have the option to release him after the 2025 season.
