Hailstorm Disrupts Pakistan Team’s Practice Session in Canberra Ahead of Test Series Against Australia [Watch]

The Pakistan men’s cricket team’s practice session was interrupted by a hailstorm. The Men in Green are in Australia preparing for a three-match Test series against the Aussies. They started the 2023-25 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle with two wins against Sri Lanka and are currently at the top of the points table.

The reigning WTC champions, Australia, have played five games, won two, lost two, and drawn one. They are in the fourth position. The upcoming series is crucial for both teams.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video of the hailstorm that disrupted the players’ training session in Canberra. Ace Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi emphasized the importance of the upcoming Test series against Australia, stating that it is significant for Pakistan as they are leading the WTC 2025 points table. He expressed their readiness for the challenge and their preparations for the series.

Shaheen Afridi also wished Australian opener David Warner good luck, who has indicated that he might retire from Tests after the third Test against Pakistan in Sydney in January 2024.
