Shubman Gill bares all in shirtless photo ahead of SA vs IND 1st T20I at Durban

Team India star opener Shubman Gill has been flaunting his toned physique ahead of the first T20I against South Africa, set to take place at the Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban on December 10. In a shirtless photo shared on his Instagram story, Gill can be seen posing against a picturesque background inside the stadium.
Gill, considered the next big thing in Indian cricket after Virat Kohli, has established himself as one of the fittest players in the Indian cricket team. With a massive following of 11.8 million users on Instagram, the 24-year-old cricketer has had a successful year in 2023, amassing 2118 runs across formats, including eight centuries and 10 fifties.
Despite being rested for the five-match home T20I series against Australia, Gill is expected to deliver stellar performances in the upcoming three T20Is and two Tests, as he aims to rest and manage his workload during the upcoming three-match ODI series.
On the other hand, former West Indies captain Brian Lara has expressed confidence in Gill’s potential to break his records of 400* in Tests and 501* in first-class cricket. Lara praised Gill’s batting style, stating that if he plays County cricket, he could surpass Lara’s first-class record, and in Test cricket, he can go beyond Lara’s 400. Overall, Gill holds the record for the third-fastest double century in ODIs, achieving the landmark in 145 balls and accumulating 3541 runs in 73 matches, including nine tons and 18 half-centuries.
